Kaati [Cot-tee] Tarr
is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and relationship issues, based in Cottonwood Heights, UT.

Kaati’s clients are families and individuals interested in learning how to make permanent, positive changes in their lives. Her methods are strength-based and help identify the obstacles that prevent you from being your “best self.”

Kaati provides individual therapy to those seeking to heal from trauma while learning to name and manage their emotions better, improve relationships, and increase mindfulness while reducing shame and guilt.
Kaati holds a master’s degree in social work and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Utah. Prior to opening her private practice in 2010 she gained valuable experience working in various social work settings including Child and Family Services as well as crisis and trauma social work at the local children’s hospital. Kaati also has extensive experience in counseling ethnically diverse individuals and families, especially Pacific Islander, Asian and South American cultures.
